HE LOVES YOU, JUST KNOW!

"Give thanks to the LORD and proclaim His greatness. Let the whole world know what He has done."  Psalm 105:1 NLT

I often run across Christians who feel less than qualified to share about their relationship with Jesus. Have you ever felt that way? You know - not good enough, intelligent enough, worthy enough, spiritual enough?

Maybe this statement from a friend will resonate with you and offer the encouragement you need so that you can genuinely share the love of Christ regardless of your feelings of inadequacy.

"I share God's love based on His Truth, not based on my feelings. I KNOW I am not perfect, so I focus on the FACTS about God's love instead of leaning on my emotions. When I get 'down on me ' - I remember the grace He gives in His extraordinary love for me."

How freeing! I do not have to be perfect in order to speak what I KNOW TO BE TRUE. When I remember the following words of Jesus, it gives me the push I need to freely share when He places the opportunity before me.

"You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed and placed and purposefully planted you, so that you would go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit will remain and be lasting."
(John 15:16 AMP)

Yes! He has chosen us, appointed, and purposely planted us WHEREVER WE ARE to go and bear fruit for Him. Proclaiming His greatness as we go about our days, is the fruit-bearing He calls us to. It is all about the greatness of Him, not the inadequacy of us.

In a world that is overrun with imperfection, may TODAY mark a day of remembrance:

1. YOU ARE CHOSEN.
"For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world." (Ephesians 1:4 NIV)

2. HE HAS APPOINTED YOU TO BEAR FRUIT.
Wherever you are, THERE is your ministry field. Homemaker, living in retirement, office worker, teacher . . . and every other calling in life. On the NOW of your timeline, He has chosen you to bring glory to Him. Instead of trying to "relocate", remember He has placed you where you are!

John 15:16 reminds us that "where we are" is His choice for us at this present time.

3. THE FRUIT YOU BEAR WILL BE LASTING.
The onus of the fruit-bearing is upon Him. Your response is simply to obey.

Pray with me.

Dear Jesus, may I learn to love You more as I trust that You are giving me the opportunity to share Your greatness. May the fruit I bear bring You pleasure and glory for Kingdom purposes. Amen.

 Loving and sharing, Cindi
